The stitch cutter is used for general suture removal. Appearing similar to a scalpel, this instrument requires no handle and is a simple, convenient way to remove basic sutures whilst minimising patient discomfort. The slightly curved, flat, bull nose tip slides under the suture and when rotated, gently removes the suture from the site.
